Simple House Warming Party By Precious Pea

Dear Precious Pea invited a few floggers to her new house in Setia Alam for a simple house warming party last month. The first thing I thought of when I heard the name was “It must be somewhere near Shah Alam!” Reason: Because of the word “Alam”. πŸ˜›

The party starts at 1pm. As I’m working half day that day, my initial plan was to take the cab at Kelana Jaya LRT station to Setia Alam but to my surprised, I got a call from Teckiee while I’m on the train around 2pm saying she and WMW were still in PJ and can come to pick me up. (Woohoo!) If you’re wondering why they’re still in PJ at the particular hour, maybe you can ask them yourself. πŸ˜€ *giggles*

On the way, we stop by a Shell petrol station for fuel and we found the signboard’s funny!

It’s pretty easy to reach Setia Alam based on Precious Pea’s direction but it’s quite far though. And due to the host’s request, no pictures of the house to be posted online, sorry!

The others have already arrived, so we joined in the fun. The banana chocolate muffin baked by Precious Pea herself were fluffy and not too sweet, just nice.

Some simple salad with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, zucchini and yellow capsicum tossed with light mayo dressing. The zucchini were sweet and juicy even with the skin intact, unlike the cucumber which will taste bitter if you don’t remove the centre part.

Precious Pea also prepared some grilled chicken wings with her new oven.

Isn’t the angel hair pasta colourful? Instead of cooking it with cheese or cream, she put in prawns, vegetables such as celery, garlic, carrot, yellow capsicum, red chillies and oyster mushroom. A very healthy pasta dish.

I love this… pineapple tart! Precious Pea hand made them herself, so you can see the pineapple jam ball is bigger than those you buy outside. Very satisfying pineapple tart experience. πŸ˜›
PS: Precious Pea, you can make and sell them during CNY next year!

The yoghurt cake made by Paprika was great too, I particularly like the sweet and tangy yoghurt frosting on top of it.

There’s actually more such as bingka ubi, baked potatoes etc but was too busy stuffing our tummy….so, you see…. *blush*

And after all the delish spread of food, we just had to do some exercise with the Wii. See Jackson and Paprika’s action in boxing (they just love to punch and kick without hurting each other). Hehe. πŸ˜›

Thanks a lot to Precious Pea again for having us and took time to cook such scrumptious meal for us! We should do potluck next time. πŸ˜‰
