Floggers’ Potluck Party With Big Boys Oven

Warning: Great food post ahead. Don’t read with empty stomach.

It was a day full of glorious food! It was on the same day as MAX’s Rite Bites event that Big Boys Oven host a potluck party with the floggers.

We (Teckiee, WMW, Jackson and me) sent Precious Pea back after the event and went to get the Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun somewhere in Damansara area before heading to BBO’s apartment at Kota Damansara. We were the second last group to reach before Xiu Long Bao and Char Siew Bao.
And we had a really scrumptious spread of food:

Home cooked spaghetti, loaded with frankfurters, cherry tomatoes, red capsicums, bacon strips and crabsticks I think. Can’t really remember the ingredients but hey, we love it! Teckiee is one talented cook, I tell you. πŸ˜›

Deep fried spring rolls with plum dipping sauce, specially prepared by KampungBoyCityGal. The skin is still crispy despite the “waiting-to-be-eaten-long hours”. I love deep fried food. Sue me if you want. =P

Our host, Sid cook this Green Curry Chicken himself.

Xiu Long Bao brought this “Ju Hu Char” (white raddish) and spicy sambal belacan. Wrap them with lettuce, dash on some sambal belacan and pop into the mouth. Nice and spicy!

Another talented cook, Cutie made the stuffed eggs herself. The egg yolks were removed, mashed and mixed with mayo and herbs before stuffed back on the egg whites’ shells. p/s: Is it correct, Cutie?

Jackson brought his mom’s specially prepared Stuffed Tau Hu Pok in Broth. So lucky of him to have a mom who can cook so well. *Green with envy*

Fezzaboy packed four tubs of different types of pasta from a nearby Italian restaurant (which he claimed to be a good one).

Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun, highly recommended by WMW. I had the real Teluk Intan CCF before which I don’t quite like it but this one is much better than the one I had. The CCF were soft and tastes good just by its own, without any gravy or sauce. By the way, the floggers thought that WMW and me brought these CCF. In fact, I didn’t bring anything to the party as we’re running out of time. Hahaha… but I get to wash the dishes!

Missed out pictures: Chicken Rice by Tummythoz, Pong Teh from Kusahi Keat and Duck Meat Wrap by Sid… Sorry! Was busy wrapping the duck meat for Xiu Long Bao, WMW and Tummythoz till I forgotten to take pics….

And next… desserts by Sunny!
