Restoran KL In Ipoh

I used to frequent this shop during lunch when I was still working in Ipoh as my working place was somewhere nearby. My colleagues told me that their pork chops are the specialty.

Located just a few doors away from Chor Kee coffee shop, this humble little eatery belonged to an avid photographer, James Ting and his wife. James is also the member of FIP (Foto Imej Perak Association) where you can have a look at his works which were printed in 8 inch x 12 inch size photo paper and stucked on the wall behind the counter in his shop.

Apart from pork chops, you can choose from a variety of other dishes such as fish, stir fry veggies, beancurd, egg, chicken and seafood, just like a normal economy rice stall. Do notice that they have two types of pork chops; dry version without the sauce and black pepper with onions. I usually will request for both and I prefer the black pepper one as it is more tender and flavourful.
Guess how much does this costs? 2 big pieces of pork chops and one side dish is just RM 3.50.

hehe long live ipoh food!
but ipoh food getting the kl pricing as well… things are getting so costly. but anything for yummy food! funny that ive lived in ipoh for 14 yrs yet not know so many hidden treasures… le sigh.

Good food come cheap, tasty and well presented in Ipoh. Otherwise operator cannot survive!!

WHAT??? We can’t even get wantan mee for RM3.50 here in KL. Aiyoyo… maybe I should migrate to Ipoh!

dry version without the sauce would it be too dry to have it with rice alone?
me.. sure will order the one with sauce. hihi…

HEY! yeah, you’re right, I haven’t tried nor heard bout this before. Restoran KL? hehe … guess that explains why KL has Jalan Ipoh as well. Mutual exchange of names?!
anyway, will give this a shot in the future. Or better yet, you bring me there la, can get blogger discount? Muahaha … (as if RM3.50 not a steal)

Haha, I always see Restoran Ipoh in KL and now it’s my first time seeing Restoran KL in Ipoh, interesting. Yeah, the price is reasonable. It’s really hard to look for cheap food lately…

Tummythoz: We lurve our porks. Yeah, 3 types of side dishes would be RM 3.80 or sometimes RM4 in KL.

wow so cheap! in kl, one stupid chic breast rice min is rm4.50. some even almost rm5! ipoh is heaven now.
